Our Team
Meet the Healthwatch Gloucestershire team

Helen Webb
Healthwatch Gloucestershire Manager
Helen leads and manages the work of Healthwatch Gloucestershire. She guides and supports the Healthwatch Gloucestershire Board to ensure our work programme addresses the health and care needs of local people in the context of local and national health and care priorities and developments. She manages our engagement team and oversees the work of our volunteers, to encourage public involvement and participation in the monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of health and social care services. She promotes the value of listening to patient and public feedback and represents the views of local people to those responsible for health and care in Gloucestershire to inform decisions about service development and improvement.

Helen Esfandiarinia
Volunteer Officer
Helen is the main point of contact for Healthwatch Gloucestershire volunteers, ensuring they are supported in their roles. She is also responsible for recruiting new volunteers, co-ordinating all volunteer activities including arranging induction sessions, on-going training, and volunteer supervision. The role also includes identifying and leading on new projects which reach into local communities.

Suzie Compton
Engagement Officer
Suzie’s role is to seek out and listen to the people who live in Gloucestershire, to hear their experiences of using health and care services, then collate the feedback and use this to look for trends and themes of the key messages. These will then be fed into the commissioners and providers of the services to make sure that local people’s experiences influence how services are managed and provided.

Jessica Bush
Youth Engagement Officer
Jessica leads our exciting new Young Listeners project which aims to encourage local children and young people to speak up about their health and care needs to help shape and improve services in the county. Jessica recruits and trains young volunteers, and works with them to plan and deliver activities to engage and listen to other young people. She brings young people together to share their questions, concerns and views about health and wellbeing, and she supports them to share their ideas with those responsible for local services to help drive positive action and change.

Natalie Bowers
Team Administrator
Natalie has joined us to support the general running of the Healthwatch Gloucestershire office. Her role involves admin support such as preparing documents, organising meetings, answering the phone and email enquiries and supporting the Healthwatch Local Board.
