Mental Health Support for Young People in Gloucestershire

To make things a little easier, we’ve created a simple guide that brings together local and national mental health support options for young people (aged 11-25) in Gloucestershire. Whether you’re looking for someone to talk to, online support, or help in a crisis, this resource links you to services that can listen, support, and help you find the right care.

Why we created this resource

As part of our ongoing project exploring the experiences of autistic and ADHD young people (aged 11–25) in Gloucestershire, we heard that some of the survey and discussion topics could bring up difficult emotions or memories.

We wanted everyone taking part to have access to clear, trustworthy information about where they could turn for mental health support — whether that’s local counselling, text-based support, or national helplines.

That’s why we created this short information leaflet — a simple guide bringing together local and national support options for young people in one place.

Although we originally developed it for people involved in our autism and ADHD project, we know that many young people across Gloucestershire face similar challenges when trying to find the right help. So we’re sharing it publicly so that anyone who might benefit can use it.
